Our Woodgate project incorporates Southern traditional design elements which make use of a previously unused backyard. Expanding upon the footprint of the house, the outdoor kitchen addition and screening of the carport provided our clients with a unique, private entertainment space. Elements incorporated to improve the ambiance of the space include a gas fire pit and self-contained fountain.  Each element defines separate spaces providing the effect of multiple outdoor rooms.  The outdoor kitchen is an aspiring chef’s dream.  With plenty of cooking space on the large grill and side burner, the homeowner can accommodate any sized gathering. The design elements included in this space include bluestone and brick for the flooring, warm-toned cypress for the posts and ceiling, and brick and granite for the kitchen. The unseen element in this project is the large-scale drainage system that handles the large volume of water from the roof and surrounding areas.
